The C.O.D.E. of Training
Much like a ‘code’ in a data script, there’s a C.O.D.E. of Training we at Stevic Strategic have developed over the years that’s helped in creating efficient training programs and evaluating trainee progress:
Convey the main concepts (i.e. give clear & concise instructions)
Observe retention & progress (i.e. are the instructions being followed?)
Detect problem issues (i.e. is there a consistent pattern of errors coming up?)
Evaluate competencies (i.e. give an honest evaluation of progress, taking care to avoid being either too rigid or too loose in your assessment of competencies)
