The C.O.D.E. of Training

Much like a ‘code’ in a data script, there’s a C.O.D.E. of Training we at Stevic Strategic have developed over the years that’s helped in creating efficient training programs and evaluating trainee progress:

• Convey the main concepts (i.e. give clear & concise instructions)

• Observe retention & progress (i.e. are the instructions being followed?)

• Detect problem issues (i.e. is there a consistent pattern of errors coming up?)

• Evaluate competencies (i.e. give an honest evaluation of progress, taking care to avoid being either too rigid or too loose in your assessment of competencies)
